Happy birthday to me!

Today was a good day. I took off work. I guess I got spoiled never having to go to school on my birthday. So, I slept late, watched some Due South, went to Best Buy and bought S1 of The Muppet Show and Profit on DVD, watched the pilot of Profit, got taken out to dinner by Richard and Alison, and then came back and talked to Tiff on the phone. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

And look what Tiff got me! A shiny new icon! Hee hee hee hee hehehehheh.

I have to say, though, I have very mixed feelings about being 25. It's a bit more adult than I feel. Granted, this past year, I achieved financial independence from my parents. But 25? By the rules of math, if it comes to rounding up, technically I'm in my upper 20s. That means almost 30!

Holy crap.

But, on the bright side, I'm rocking my new blue trench/raincoat. Thanks Mom!

It's not that 25 in and of itself is a bad age, per se, it just was (is) freaking me out, because that means I'm almost in my upper-20s, which means soon I should have this adult-life thing figured out. And I don't feel like I do (or will) in the near future.

But I'm calmer now. When it's not your birthday, you don't think about your age as much, you know? :) Ahhh, denial.
