Lovelovelove!
Feb. 13th, 2006 10:13 pmOh my fucking god, has anything ever been cuter than Shaun White??! (Getting caught up on my Olympics from yesterday.)
OMG, I just want to, like, bite his face. He got all choked up during the national anthem, and was teary when hugging his parents after he won (they were bawling) and was very funny and charming in interviews, and I just want to take him home and keep him on my couch. Love. Love love love. Here's the NYTimes article.
The best part was his interview with Bob Costas, and Bob Costas was all, I read that you said getting a gold could help you pick up babes, and even though it's vaguely an embarassing question, Shaun White played it really well. He was all, could it hurt? And then mock-scenarioed, while holding up his medal, "oh hey, hi, oh, look, I just happen to be wearing this." Hee hee. And then, he was talking about how everyone had found out he wanted to meet Sasha Cohen, and he had been asked if he thought winning a gold would help, and he said, "Maybe we both might get [gold medals] and then we could wear them out. I'm just throwing it out there." HA! Hee hee hee.
LOVE! Anyone want to make me a Shaun White icon? *bats eyelashes* I'd be grateful!
