Doctor Who, stuff of nightmares
Mar. 8th, 2006 12:45 amMy brother-in-law, Jonny, is AWESOME. Ages ago he taped and mailed me the new Doctor Who series from the BBC, just because he thought I'd like it. It took me ages to get around to watching it, because I need to play it on my foreign VCR (because they are PAL tapes) and it's a hassle to hook it up to my tv. Anyway, it's excellent, and if you haven't seen it, it's debuting on Sci-Fi on Mar 17th, so mark your TiVos!
One teeny problem, though. I just watched the episodes The Empty Child and the Doctor Dances, they -- I believe this is the technical term -- ( SCARED THE BEJEESUS OUT OF ME. 'Where's Mummy?' Cree. Pee. *shudder* )
So, I've got my nightmares all lined up. I'm curious, what do y'all have nightmares about?
I, for one, infinitely prefer monsters and psychos to malevolent incoporeal things. Because at least the one you can touch, and therefore potentially inflict pain upon and/or defend yourself. Although, oddly enough, the most frequently occurring thing in nightmares for me? Velociraptors. You don't see them coming!
