They announced the winners of the Peeps contest, and as expected I did not win. (see: Peeps Show VI: Power to the Peeps.) I am impressed with the costumes of the royal wedding one that was a finalist, I must concede that.
For the first time, they have the uncurated, unorganized gallery of ALL the hundreds of entries, and mine is in there. It's several hundred clicks in, there really should be a better way to browse. And I'm sure they could have gotten a volunteer to make it look better. The photos are in the order they were uploaded and you could post two shots of your diorama, but could only do one at a time. This means that the pairs of photos of the same diorama are typically not together (mine aren't) because they are separated by whoever uploaded one in the time in between your first and second uploads. Annoying! Sloppy! There were a bunch of royal wedding ones, but mine was the only carriage ride I saw so far. There were many of the Hunger Games cornucopia scene, which was my other idea, so it's just as well I didn't do that one.
Oh well, there is always next year!
