So I've been watching the Buffy marathon on Logo, and yay Buffy, but BOOOOOO Logo cutting things! (To be fair, I don't know if it was Logo, or if it's this way anytime Buffy is aired in syndication.) But they frequently cut out a line or two, or sometimes part of a fight, and it is driving me insane. In Graduation Day Part 2, they cut "he'd never see it coming" and Cordy's box of germs line from the brainstorming session. In Fool for Love, they cut, tell my mother I'm sorry/sorry, love, I don't speak Chinese. In Crush, they only had one ewww and cut it's not blood, it's whiskey/ewwwwwwww. There is something missing from every episode! And sometimes it's important. Like, Something Blue, on right now, after Buffy says that she thinks Willow is dealing with Oz having left, they cut Spike saying, what are you two blind, she's barely hanging on. Rarrr!

So I saw The A-Team yesterday. Big, stupid fun. And quite funny at times. It was the consensus choice, and playing at the right time, so it's not like I was dying to see it and had high expectations, but the four leads had good chemistry, and it was a good explosion-filled time. The whole sequence in the port was PREPOSTEROUS, but at that point, pfffft, in for a penny, in for a pound.

Lasko: The Fist of God. (Lasko: Die Faust Göttes) I know this is an impossibility, given that the show is in German, but I literally know no one else who has ever seen this show, except for biggieshorty, upon whom I forced a viewing of some highlights. It's a cheesetastic, sublimely ridiculous show, and I know it would find a place in Fandom's heart, if only it were in English. It's about a fighting monk, who is a paragon of virtue, who the camera sexualizes as if he were a blond cheerleader. There are completely ridiculous stunts and action set pieces. I want other people to watch and enjoy and mock with me! *pouts*
