I think people I know are beginning to worry about me, because I rave about Veronica Mars that much. Most of the time my remarks get an, uh-huh reaction.

I've already posted my idea, stolen from the Farscape campaign, for one way to help VM on TWoP, and sent it to Mars Investigations and Save Veronica Mars. But I'm going to put it here, too. VM, for whatever reason, is such a hard sell, but once people see it they get hooked. So, the idea is to have fans donate DVD sets to libraries and rec centers to increase accessibilty to the show. I think it won't quite be something that people impulse buy.

I've had, almost universally, very good luck with my impulse buys. (I mean things I've bought because I've heard good things but never seen/heard/read for myself.) DVD shows I bought on impulse (having heard either good things from friends or TWoP) -- Arrested Development, Due South, The O.C., and Wonderfalls. Worked out pretty damn well for me!

Hey, you! Just the other day I was digging through every piece of paper I have looking for the title to my car and I came across my UPS store order form from when I sent you the Farscape tapes. I was wondering if you had an LJ. I must be psychic!

I love the Wonderfalls DVD's so, so much. Arrested Development is on my list of DVD's to watch. Do you think there is going to be a second release of Veronica Mars DVD's with more features and commentaries?

Hi! You must be psychic!

You know, I was so bummed when I heard it wasn't going to be released in time for the second season. Rob Thomas hasn't said anything about a re-release, has he? But, you know what he could do? Podcast commentaries, like Battestar Galactica's website has. I should write to him and suggest that!

Either way, I'm going to buy them. (I do plan on buying multiple copies and giving them to libraries.) And if he comes out with a special edition, I'll just donate my old version!

Arrested Development is HILARIOUS, in most cases because the humor is so unexpected. Half the time, I can't believe what I just heard. Early on, I learned not to watch it while being on my laptop, because of a few close calls with Diet-Coke-through-the-nose. So consider yourself warned!
