Snow!

Holy crap, there's like a foot of snow on the ground outside. I live in the South, y'all, we don't normally get a foot of snow over the course of an entire WINTER.

US East Coasters, how'd everyone make out? Got enough supplies to last? (I am tragically out of salt and vinegar potato chips, but I guess I'll just have to wait out the thaw.)

There's a Starbucks across the street, twenty-five theaters within a ten-block radius, three movie theaters within walking distance, and more restaurants than I could eat at in a year within a five-block radius. BRING IT ON, MOTHER NATURE.

I think we're getting 20 inches over here? More?

You shoulda fuckin' seen the lines at old TJ's yesterday. It was, um, amusing. But it meant that when my shift was over I was no way in hell gonna wait on that line too, so I didn't really do any extra shopping. But everything will be all right.

Ugh, I can only imagine the madness that would have been a gorcery store prior to the storm.

Does your world still function? I mean, is everyone all, shake it off, it's nothing? Or, is it like it would be in VA, namely life shutting down and no one leaving their homes until spring?
