gotta love this birthday thing

imwaldeLeaving aside my low-level existential crisis about getting older, I gotta say I love birthdays! Tonight was the third night in a row I was taken out for dinner by friends. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!
I am INCREDIBLY easy to shop for, just as a disclaimer. I love many things. I love many things with cult fandoms, ie lots of merchandise. And I have lots of stuff, so it's not like one more tchotchke is going to be noticeable in my spartan surroundings or anything. I own tons of DVDs, and I'm not shy -- I'll tell you what to get me if you're stuck for ideas. Is what you have in mind shiny, sparkly, fuzzy, tasty, or yummy-smelling? Yeah, that'll probably do nicely. But, still, many of my friends, somehow not coming up with anything take my out to dinner. But you know, that's like two gifts -- the gift of dinner AND the gift of not-cooking!
And now, Tiff is giving me the gift of shiny new icons! Hooray!
