David Duchovny loves puppies!
Aug. 6th, 2005 04:19 pmI find myself completely unable to fast forward through the Pedigree commercial with the puppies and David Duchovny's voiceover. Most of the time I rewind it, too. And I can't stop noises like EEEEEEIIIAAAA! from coming out of my mouth. OHMYGODTHECUUUUUUTE! It's incapacitating. But, at the same time, part of me goes, really? David Duchovny? I hope hope hope this is voluntary for him. I mean, I truly hope that he had other options.
(True tangential story -- when I saw Zoolander in the theater with Sam (from the T-shirt store), and you first hear his voice before he appears on screen for his cameo, I squealed out loud, "It's David Duchovny!" Much to the amusement/annoyance of everyone around me. Another true story, tangential to the tangent -- when I saw Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, as Tiffany tells it, during Quidditch I shouted, "Nooo! Not the face!" when it looked like a Bludger was going to hit Oliver Wood. But, I ask, who would want harm to come to the adorable face of Sean Biggerstaff? )
My other favorite commercials at the moment are for Starbucks expresso drinks. I loved the "Roy" one with Survivor, but the Hank one I think surpasses it. It's the Hank mascot doing the worm that puts it over the top for me. Love love love. It makes me so happy, I don't even need the caffeine being shilled. Wheeeeeeeee!
