I love the internet, y'all. So damn much. I don't know why I didn't think to look sooner!
Vintage Sesame Street on YouTube:
The Lady Bug Picnic -- Count to 12!
The Little Doll House -- "One, two, two little dolls..." Holy. Shit. Memory is weird, no? I remembered the lyrics, no lie. This was one of my favorites.
F is for Flea Circus -- the little animated flea circus, where all the words start with f! Remember?
Monsterpiece Theater: Chariots of Fur -- With Alastair Cookie! Hee!
Rubber Duckie -- No list would be complete without it. "Rubber duckie, joy of joys, when I squeeze you, you make noise..."
Ernie Orders an Ice Cream Cone -- I don't know what this was teaching the kiddies, but I vividly remember the cone, stacked all high.
Square One: The Mathematics of Love "I night, the moon was shining, II hearts..." Hee! I remembered not only the words but the black soft chalk? crayon? drawing on the column. I was FASCINATED by the black chalk stuff. It looked like it went on so smooth!
And then finally,
Yip Yips Meet the Telephone -- Yip yip yipyipyip.
Yip Yips Meet the Computer -- Yip yip yipyipyip yip yip.
There are some I couldn't find yet, though. "Put Down the Duckie" anyone? You got to put down the duckie if you want to play the saxophone...
Or does anyone remember the sugar beet song? Beet beet sugar beet sugarbeet sugar beet bee-eet. There are lots of sugar beets on conveyor belts, and you learn how sugar is made. It was AWESOME!
Anyone know where I can find them?
