I saw V for Vendetta and I thought it was awesome. I was swept up by the coolness of the whole thing. "For three years I had roses and apologized to no one." Poor Rupert Graves, though, he aged puffy. For whatever reason, though, I feel weird about recommending it, because I know some people will hate it. Dunno. Awesome, but not for everyone is my assessment.

I'm actually kind of shocked that you loved V for Vendetta, given that giant part of the movie where things with Portman/Weaving get JAW-DROPPINGLY UNACCEPTABLE. But goddamn if the explosions set to the music didn't almost wipe that from my memory! So...pleasing.

I mean, I didn't like V, per se, and my reactions would have been very different than Evey's (what with never having been brainwashed), but I enjoyed the movie and the story.

And the pretty explosions.
