"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Kripke, you bastard!" Oddly, I wouldn't be surprised to see this phrase on my friendlist at all, but it would be a different Kripke. (There's a famous but insane philosopher by that name.)
Or, rather, it made me wonder: has Molly suddenly discovered philosophy? And has she found in herself a visceral opposition to causal theories of names and a posteriori necessity? Who's your Kripke, anyway?
Uh, no, I haven't discovered philosophy. Robert Kripke is the producer of a tv show on The WB called Supernatural, which had its season finale tonight and ended on a huge cliffhanger.
Which is almost exactly the same thing, right?
But, I will happily voice a visceral opposition to causal theories of names and a posteriori necessity, if you tell me that's the way to go. I trust you.
