the earth is doomed

I saw Superman yesterday at the Uptown. Aaaaaand apparently everyone dies and Superman fails to save the day because about half an hour before the end the celluloid MELTED (like, we saw it burn up from the center to the edges) in the projector, and they tried to fix it but they couldn't, and so I got a free pass to an AMC theater.

But this means I'll need to watch the first 2 hours again. Which I liked, but still, annoying.

Luke from Veronica Mars was doing a great job as Jimmy Olsen. He was really funny. Reserving judgment on the rest.

Agreed! Quality movie... though much better when you see the whole thing (as I was, apparently, fortunate enough to do).

I have the 4th off, so I'm going to probably see it then. Hopefully the whole thing will play this time!

There's the see another movie, and then duck in for the last bit of Superman option.
