imwaldeOk, so apparently Peres has announced that Israel will be developing nanotechnology-based weapons. More here.
Who thinks this will end well? I spent 20 minutes today trying to get something unitalicized in a stupid text editor, and my DVR on Thursday just didn't record The OC, because apparently that is what it decided. Machines are disobedient and people are dumb.
This will end...poorly, I predict.

Mr. Peres, when the KILLER NANOROBOTS take over and are done exterminating all humans, I'm sure they will kill you last out of gratitude.
On the other hand, it makes me laugh to think that in that "The Office" episode when Dwight has to pick a new health care plan, and people are submitting diseases, and Pam puts in "goverment-created killer nanorobot infestation," and we all laughed? Well, turns out that wouldn't be a bad thing for insurance to cover.
