I just can't help myself

Thank you all for your suggestions, but I think the felt blob will have to do as the hat. I don't know if you've ever looked hard at the head shape of a Peep, but they are not really meant for hats. There's a very, very small area where a hat can go that isn't the back/neck or won't cover the eyes. I tried a bottle cap, but it was too big even. Anyway, here's what I came up with.

Also, I did another one.

From Here to Eterni-peep. (Or is From Peep to Eternity funnier?)

The glue on the ocean is still drying, btw.

Have you tried using spray starch before shaping the felt blob? Felt can be remarkably pliable sometimes. After all, the actual Indiana Jones hat is wool felt. You may also want to try soaking it in water, shaping it, and then letting it dry in that shape. That way it may look more like a fedora and less like a bucket hat. The diorama looks really good, by the way.

And "From Peep to Eternity" is funnier.

Ha! It totally does look like a bucket hat. I wet the felt with glue and tried to shape it, and that's how it turned out. I think I can live with it, but spray starch would have been excellent, though!

The hat looks great. I need a bit more UST in From Peep to Eternity, although I have no idea how you would mange that, lol.

Hee, yes, these Peeps lack chemistry, I agree. Either you have it or you don't, I guess!

Know what was funny? I told someone I was doing a FHTE diorama, and they asked what scene. Heh.

BWAH! There's another scene in that movie?

I know, right? Like, was I going to recreate the knife fight between Montgomery Clift and Ernest Borgnine or something?! (Heh, although that would be hilarious if someone could pull it off...)
