Wait, the sun doesn't revolve around the earth? Then how come it's not always at the same place in the sky? Kidding, kidding. That's an incredibly scary statistic.

Well now, think about how that question sounds in the middle of a longer test of science questions. probalby number 15 of 20 or something, people are getting fatigued, and they hear "Does the sun revolve around the earth? True or False." Probably something not quite 20% of the time, but at least 10-15, I'm gonna think I heard "Does the earth revolve around the sun". Says mroe about the poll to me.
