My parents flew in this morning and will be here through next weekend, so I probably won't be online much at all.

All the moreso since my crappy dvd player finally sputtered out which means no tv for a month, gah. (Austrian cable connected to austrian dvd player which went to a signal converter which went to the tv -- without the austrian dvd player, there is no fixture my cable can plug into, it's a completely different size/shape from what plugs into the backs of US tvs and/or signal converters.) So we'll be watching lots of dvds on my laptop, which fine, but that means my dad will feel free to putter about on my laptop. Sigh. I am secretly disappointed not to watch bad German/Austrian made-for-tv Christmas movies (a la Lifetime), but the man at the electronics store said I shouldn't expect my dvd player back from the manufacturer before mid-January. And disc 1 of The 4400 S4 is trapped inside!
