I do not know when The Vampire Diaries entered the list of favorite shows I am watching, but damn, show, HOW SO AWESOME? TWoP agrees, too. This show really is amazingly good from week to week with just the most staggering pacing I have ever seen. From a long time X-Files fan where we'd wait for YEARS to gather crumbs we could assemble together into some sort of whole, it just continually surprises me to watch a show where you think some plot line is going to be dragged out all year, only to have it resolved or exposed within the span of an episode. And then they just keep going with more plots! So much happens every week! And the few times they are hinting at something without being explicit (Tyler) it's intriguing, not annoying, because you know it will be revealed in due time. Welcome back to my television, Sark! One of the main reasons to watch is Ian Somerhalder, who is clearly just having so much fun with this role. I loved him as Hamilton first. When will they release Young Americans on DVD already?

Supernatural was also really awesome tonight. Slash fanservice, they do love us!
