According to Ausiello, Legend of the Seeker was canceled. Boo. That was a fun show. I mean, the convention of naming every damn thing The ___ of ___ (ie, The Sword of Truth) was eye-rolling, and Zedd was mostly annoying, and I hear the author of the books is sort of douchey?

But it did have any number of things going for it:

... when bothering to clothe the cast at all.




Also, the universe's best sleeves.



Her hair is also most excellent, especially in slo mo fights. And the fights in general were pretty cool. They used all the stunt folks from Xena and Hercules, so they did have some very good talent working for them.


Ah, well. RIP, eye candy. Maybe SyFy will pick you up?

DAMN. I had no idea this was even on the chopping block. How could they? I mean it's not great tv but it is very entertaining and one of the most woman-positive shows I have seen ever. Plus it's pretty. Very pretty. I don't know where they get so many beautiful women, but wherever it is, I want some of their water.

No, me neither. Because it's not on any one network, I think it mostly flies under the radar on the mainstream entertainment sites I hear about shows on the bubble from?

I really do love both Kahlen and Cara. I could seriously stare at their faces forever, how so pretty? I just spent the last hour looking for a really good shot of Kahlen's action hair. (What hardship!) I still am trying to find a perfect one when both her sleeves and hair are swirling.

When I heard Cara was joining the cast, I dreaded a love triangle, but to my shock, they had Kahlen and Cara have issues with each other of an entirely different and rational nature! And my heart is glad everytime the show is all, don't worry about Richard, he's got Kahlen and Cara there to protect him!

I am not in the loop of LOTS fandom, but today I went digging around, and it seems this caught most people offguard, although I guess it was a known possibility. It really does seem possible that SyFy could consider picking it up. If you catch wind of any fandom rallying on its behalf, please do point it my way!
