I ♥ Chuck. I am watching season 2, and while this show does not make me have Thinky Fannish Thoughts I do usually laugh at loud. Gary Cole was an awesome guest star, and Reginald VelJohnson reprising his role as Sgt Al Powell, hahahah! With some of the same music cues as Die Hard! There are few faster ways to my heart.
Boo, the embed option does not appear to be working, so go here to play the video: "Paying for Petting Time in Japan's Cat Cafes". This is a genius idea. I would have totally paid to spend time with cats when I was at college and missed fuzzy loving. People without cats and cats without people all get some love. \o/
This IO9 review of The Last Airbender is a thing of beauty.
Jason Momoa will be playing Conan in a remake?? How did I not know this?!

Well, hot damn. It would have taken me a minute to place him; I'd never seen him without his dreads. His voice I would know right off, though. And those arms. Those are good arms to have!

Miracles. A show that came and went in 2003, I think it was a midseason replacement. The main character is Skeet Ulrich, who starts the show as an investigator of reported miracles for the Catholic Church, who crosses paths with a team of people who investigate the paranormal. It was creepy and intriguing and well-acted and had so much promise, and it helped filled a little X-Files shaped void in my heart. The DVD of the 13 episode run (only 6 of which aired) came out, and I like to think I had something to do with that; we fans staged a robust save our show campaign, and it obviously didn't work, but I think it helped to convince them to release the dvds. Entire episodes seem to be on YouTube so if that piques your interest, give it a try.
