#$^&!@@$#%& ZOMG THIS SHOW!!! I literally gasped out loud more than once. HOLY SHIT A FLAMETHROWER KILLED LUKA! AND KATHERINE ATE JONAH, WHO NEARLY KILLED MATT, WHO CAROLINE GAVE VAMP BLOOD AND TOLD THE TRUTH AFTER COMPELLING A BAND TO LIVE OUT A ROCKSTAR FANTASY. I swear, more happens in this show every week than some shows all season. I am really glad it looks like Jenna and Matt are going to be clued in, but oh man, did Matt's reveal not go well. But does Caroline even know about Vicki? She was still being compelled by Damon at that point, and she remembered all that stuff once she got vamped, but I don't know if she ever knew about Vicki to begin with. She's pretty good about playing dumb, so I genuinely couldn't tell from her reaction.

I think Jonah might have gifted Bonnie with his mojo when he gave her back hers, so she'll be the witch channeling all the dead witches at the massacre site. (Also, she's the only witch left on the show...) (And I'm glad Bonnie and Jeremy were adorable again some more, this show could use more smiles.)

And Isobel!!! Dude, Jenna's face was just >:| and I get it from her perspective, but man, I don't envy Alaric next episode. WAH, is it April 7th yet?!?!?!?

Nikita was :O too, HOLY COW MICHAEL FOUND THE LOFT. And Alex mimicking his Batman voice, hahaha, there is never enough mocking of that. I don't remember if we met Gustav before, but if we did I never noticed he was Dracula from Buffy.

Oh good lord, who can pick! Most of these are contained in my choices for best scene ever, and/or my journal names. Clearly I like "Screw destiny right in the face," "heaven has a hardware problem," and before that "sound the trumpets, strumpets," rats in an enormous pool house, fray-adjacent, and se habla epsagnol? The quote I most frequently parrot in real life is Spike's paralyzed by not caring very much. And Crichton's "DAAAA-AAAAMN SMOKEY, you can't argue with a woman!" has a special place in my heart. And what can top, "my name is Sokka, it rhymes with okka!"?

But, if I must pick, what comes to mind are two quotes --

Robin of Sherwood, Little John talking about why people followed Robin: Because a fire burned bright in him, and for a while it warmed us all.

Twin Peaks, John Justice Wheeler answering a question on whether he's in love: Brother, I am roped, tied, and branded.
