imwaldeYay! I am so glad my show is back! Eeeeee! We all knew Caroline and Tyler were going to happen, but I had no idea it would be so soon. I love them together, and I cannot wait to see how this plays out. I rewound that moment when drunk Caroline is trying to weave through the party crowdBased on what Julie Plec had said over the summer, I knew Mrs Lockwood was going to be against them, but I did not expect vervain darts, holy shit!
Stefan's situation is more or less what I expected, Andi excepted, duuuuuuude. I wonder if he is going a little Faith, ie once he's done a bad thing, he tries to turn himself completely over to being bad so as not to deal with how it makes him feel. I honestly have no real idea how he'll come back from this. His body count so far still is comparable to Damon's during season 1, and Andi < Lexi in terms of sins, IMO, so I think it's possible. I am going to throw this wild and unsubstantiated theory out there -- Katherine somehow will help bring him back to the fold, if only to help take down Klaus. Can't wait for the hybrid army.
I had forgotten Klaus didn't know Elena is alive, that just adds to Damon's reasons to keep her out of it. Poor Alaric! We'll find a role for you. You do great as Damon's sidekick.
I'm glad to see Matt more integrated into the story line. And I'm also glad to see Jeremy's new haircut and his guns in that t-shirt.
The Secret Circle pilot was very set-up heavy, to be expected, but intriguing enough to bring me back for another few episodes. Gosh, Thomas Dekker has pretty eyelashes.
And I may be the only person on earth, but I am bummed The Nine Lives of Chloe King was canceled. It had potential, a number of the characters were engaging, and the last episode was great. Am I seriously going to have to read the books to find out the answers to the cliffhanger?? Hopefully the creators will go online and answer all the loose ends.
