Hahaha! [livejournal.com profile] biggieshorty made me as a My Little Pony:

My favorite growing up was always Gusty, but this'll do.

Also: 'Farscape' creator lands The CW crime pilot

The story: “After a rash of disappearances and a likely murder, an inquisitive, young female production assistant on a wildly popular television show called Cult joins a journalist blogger in investigating the rabid fans of the series who might be re-creating crimes seen on the program, in real life.”

Me: "..."

I had to read that sentence twice to be sure I got the concept. I am not sold. But, I'll probably give it a look if it makes it to air. Farscape on paper does not convey what made fans love it. *points to icon*

In more squeeworthy news, eeeeeeeeeee, new Vampire Diaries episode!!! WELCOME BACK SHOW I MISSED YOU SO MUCH NEVER LEAVE ME! To begin, HOLY SHITBALLS JEREMY! That is not something you should be doing on your front porch! I'm a little sad they are shipping off Jeremy, but the compulsion is probably for the best. They haven't really addressed if he is still seeing ghosts, though.

The wrinkle with Alaric's ring is intriguing. Is it broken? Or was this just how a combo of real world thing + supernatural element worked? The ring can only protect from supernatural deaths; it couldn't save Elena's dad from drowning. I wasn't sure being hit by a car driven by a supernatural being counted, and it looks like maybe it only sort of counted? He gets brought back to life but has the internal injuries from the car? Dunno, they are clearly setting something up and I am sure I will be surprised.

And well done show on the kiss. Somehow it was inevitable but surprising at the same time. Rather chaste, though. I can't wait for the fallout.

And in conclusion, this little guy's face (a baby bush baby) fills my heart with happiness.

I was kind of waiting for the kiss during this episode because they don't really go for long-drawn-out teasing on this show and it's been on the horizon for a long time, but you're right, they still made it surprising. TVD is so awesome for that. And I kind of loved it. It wasn't easy, it was emotionally complex and real. ♥ (I'll admit to shipping Damon/Elena way more than Stefan/Elena - especially Damon as he has been recently.)

Poor Jeremy. But things were really getting him down, and beheading someone like that, even a hybrid, was going to lead nowhere good. I'll miss him in the show, but I'm sure he'll be back. TVD is big on actions having consequences, and the consequences of this are massive. I loved that scene, though. The way Damon deferred to Elena, the way Elena went through with it despite knowing it was morally dubious and also leaving her without her brother. Again it was emotionally complex and really well done.

Welcome back, show! I MISSED YOU. :')

Even though they don't draw things out, somehow it was still surprising to me that the kiss was now, even though we all knew it was coming sooner or later.

I'll miss Jeremy too, but it's probably for the best for Elena to send him away. She's the doppelgänger, she was always going to be sucked into the supernatural world, but Jeremy doesn't have to live this life. Not when they are all in such acute danger at the moment.

And Tyler's admission that he'd tear out his own heart? Wow. Dude just cannot get off the crazy train, although sometimes it seems like there is a flicker of recognition or remorse. I hope it's for Caroline's sake that he can break Klaus's hold on him.
