really dumb Firefox 2.0 question
Nov. 4th, 2006 02:05 pmOk, so I have Mac OSX and I just downloaded the new Firefox, and I can't figure out how to make links open in new tabs and it's driving me crazy.
There's no right click on a Mac; I used to just click and hold down, and within a few seconds it would bring up a menu off to the side with Open in New Window, Open in New Tab, Save Link Target as, etc. That doesn't happen now, no matter how long I hold down on a link.
I feel really, really stupid, but what am I doing wrong? I went into my Firefox preferences, and I checked the box for defaulting to opening in a new tab, but with no apparent effect.
Help?
EDIT: Awww, thanks, everyone! I am opening tabs like professional now!
