Ok, so I have Mac OSX and I just downloaded the new Firefox, and I can't figure out how to make links open in new tabs and it's driving me crazy.

There's no right click on a Mac; I used to just click and hold down, and within a few seconds it would bring up a menu off to the side with Open in New Window, Open in New Tab, Save Link Target as, etc. That doesn't happen now, no matter how long I hold down on a link.

I feel really, really stupid, but what am I doing wrong? I went into my Firefox preferences, and I checked the box for defaulting to opening in a new tab, but with no apparent effect.

Help?

EDIT: Awww, thanks, everyone! I am opening tabs like professional now!

You can also get a USB mouse with a scroll wheel - generally the scroll wheel acts as a third button, and if you click the scroll wheel on a link or bookmark, it opens in a new tab. I think this is the most convenient way to open new tabs. You can also get mice that have extra buttons on the side for forward and back, etc.

I keep my laptop on the coffeetable, so I don't use any mouse at all, just the track pad.

That is a cool trick to keep in mind at work, though, where I do have such a mouse. :)
